BEGINNING FLANDERS WORKSHOP with Bobbi Donnelly      Sign up today!

The Piedmont Lace Guild of Virginia is pleased to announce that we will hold a three-day workshop in Beginning Flanders Lace 9-11 April, 2010.  Instructor:  Roberta (Bobbi) Donnelly of Harrisburg, PA. 

Bobbi has been making lace since 1991, studying both here and abroad.  She studied Flanders lace with Michael Giusiana and her work can be seen in his book Flanders, published in 2004.  During the summer, Bobbi teaches Beginning to Advanced Tønder lace at Sweet Briar College in Lynchburg, VA.  Bobbi’s lace work can also be seen in OIDFA's Schwarz & Weiss, Black & White, Noir & Blanc.

Dates:     9 April - 11 April 2010 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Cost:      $150/guild member     -     $170/non-member friends

The Piedmont Lace Guild of Virginia was established in 2006 to promote and preserve the knowledge and appreciation of the fine art of lacemaking.
The Guild is centered in Fauquier County and aims to serve lacemakers in the area south and west of the nation's capital and the Northern Virginia counties.
