Garter & Cross
Bobbin Lace wedding garter and cross worked by Piedmont Lace Guild President Birgitte Tessier.

1)  Torchon lace wedding garter with fan and roseground, designed by Birgitte for her daughter, who was married last December on a beautiful snowy day!  The garter is worked in Piper's Silk.


2)  Contemporary cross worked in cream linen and silk with accent threads of purple linen and Goldrush.
The cross is from the book Lace for Ten Pairs by Claire Burkhard.  The amazing frame job was done by Mark Moore, Framecraft, Warrenton.



 
Bobbin Lace Scarf
Bobbin lace scarf worked by Piedmont Lace Guild Vice President Margaret Campbell.  The scarf pattern is from the book Kloppelmuster fur Schals und Tischlaufer by Brigitte Bellon.  Margaret chose a 30/2 spun silk for the project.  The finished size is 7 1/8 by 46 inches.
