Our Mission

The mission of our Guild is to promote and preserve the knowledge and appreciation of the fine art of lace making in all its forms and expressions, ancient and modern. 

 

The Guild shall:

• Provide instruction and education in all aspects of the art and craft of lace making to members of the Guild and their guests.

​​

• Seek to establish levels of standards of technical proficiency in the craft of lace making.

​​

• Encourage and participate in the study and collection of lace, promote lace exhibits, and demonstrate the art of lace making.

​​

• Work to ensure the continuation of the art of lace making through special efforts to encourage and develop young lace makers and through networking and cooperation with U.S. and international lace guilds and associations.
